Natur ("we," "us," or "our") operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (the "Services") to provide you, the customer ("you" or "your"), with a curated shopping experience. Natur is powered by Shopify, which enables us to deliver the Services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, make a purchase, or otherwise communicate with us through the Services. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

1. Personal Information We Collect

When we use the term "personal information," we mean information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another individual. Personal information does not include anonymous or de-identified data. Note: full payment card numbers are handled by our payment processor (Shopify Payments and/or Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.
  • Account information — your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
  • Transaction information — items you view, add to your cart or wishlist, purchase, return, exchange, or cancel, and your past transactions and subscription history.
  • Pet information — information you voluntarily provide about your dog, including name, breed, age, weight, symptoms, dietary needs, and photos. This information is treated with the same care as your own personal information.
  • Communications with us — the information you include in customer support emails, chat messages, SMS messages, product reviews, survey responses, and other communications.
  • Device and technical information — your device type, browser, operating system, network connection, IP address, device identifiers, and similar technical data.
  • Usage information — information about how and when you interact with the Services, including pages viewed, clicks, scroll behavior, session duration, referring URLs, and similar engagement data.
  • Marketing information — your preferences for receiving marketing communications from us and how you engage with our marketing (e.g., email opens, link clicks).

  • From our service providers — including Shopify, payment processors, fulfillment partners, email and SMS providers, analytics providers, and customer support tools acting on our behalf.
  • From our marketing and advertising partners — including ad platforms (Meta/Facebook, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, and similar), affiliate networks, and influencers who refer customers to us.
  • From public sources — including public databases and social media to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and improve the Services. Processing payments, fulfilling orders, managing your account, arranging shipping, processing returns under our Itch Free or It's Free Guarantee, managing subscriptions, providing customer support, and remembering your preferences.
  • To personalize your experience. Recommending products, tailoring content, and customizing the shopping experience based on your purchase history and interactions with the Services.
  • For marketing and advertising. Sending you marketing emails and SMS messages about new products, promotions, and updates; running paid advertising campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, and other platforms; retargeting visitors who didn't complete a purchase; and measuring the performance of our marketing.
  • For security and fraud prevention. Authenticating your account, verifying transactions, detecting and preventing fraud, abuse of our Itch Free or It's Free Guarantee, chargeback fraud, and other illegal or harmful activity. We may share fraud-related signals with our payment processors, banks, and fraud prevention partners.
  • To communicate with you. Sending you order confirmations, shipping updates, refund updates, customer service responses, product safety notifications, and policy updates.
  • For analytics and product development. Understanding how customers use the Services, evaluating the performance of our products and protocols, and developing new products.
  • To comply with the law. Complying with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, subpoenas, and lawful government requests; enforcing our terms and policies; and protecting our legal rights and the rights of others.

4. Marketing Communications — Email and SMS

Email. When you provide your email address (at checkout, by subscribing to our newsletter, or otherwise), you may receive marketing emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by emailing us at hello@buynatur.com. Even if you unsubscribe, we will still send you transactional emails about your orders, account, and customer service requests.

SMS / Text messages. If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, we may send you marketing and promotional messages about Natur products, offers, and updates. By consenting to SMS marketing, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages at the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by texting STOP to any message you receive from us, or by emailing hello@buynatur.com. Reply HELP for help. We use third-party SMS providers to send these messages; your mobile number will be shared with our SMS platform for the purpose of delivering the messages you have consented to receive.

5. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers and advertising partners use cookies, pixels, web beacons, software development kits ("SDKs"), and similar tracking technologies to collect information about how you interact with the Services and to deliver targeted advertising.

We use these technologies to:

  • Operate the Services and remember your preferences (essential cookies)
  • Understand site traffic and user behavior (analytics — including Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics)
  • Run and measure advertising on third-party platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Snap Pixel, Reddit Pixel, and similar tools
  • Re-engage users who have visited the Services through retargeting and abandoned cart campaigns

Most browsers allow you to manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent certain features of the Services from functioning properly. 6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may share your personal information with the following categories of third parties for the purposes described above:

  • Service providers and processors acting on our behalf, including:
    • E-commerce platform: Shopify (which hosts and powers the Services)
    • Payment processors: Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, and similar
    • Fulfillment and shipping: our third-party logistics providers and carriers
    • Email and SMS marketing: our email service provider and SMS platform
    • Customer support: our helpdesk and chat platforms
    • Reviews and ratings: our reviews and user-generated content platforms
    • Analytics: Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and similar
    • Fraud prevention: Shopify Risk, payment processor risk tools, and chargeback management providers
  • Advertising partners including Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, and similar, who use the data to show you Natur advertisements and measure performance. These platforms use the data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
  • Affiliates and corporate group — our parent company, subsidiaries, and related entities.
  • Legal and regulatory parties including law enforcement, courts, regulators, and government agencies, when required by law or to protect our rights.
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar transaction.
  • With your consent or at your direction, including when you use social media login features or share information publicly through reviews.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of advertising pixels and similar tools may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising under certain state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act). You can opt out of these uses by contacting us here.

7. Relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services to provide and improve them. Information you submit to the Services is transmitted to and shared with Shopify and third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside. Shopify may also use personal information collected through our store, other Shopify merchants, and Shopify directly to provide enhanced features and services to Natur. In those circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information and for responding to your rights requests. 8. Third-Party Websites and Links

The Services may contain links to websites or platforms operated by third parties (including social media platforms, review sites, and partner sites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information. Information you post on public or semi-public venues, including reviews and social media, may be viewable by other users without limitation.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@buynatur.com and we will promptly delete it. As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "sell" or "share" personal information of consumers under 16 years of age, as those terms are defined under applicable law.

10. Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. However, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any information you transmit to us is at your own risk. We recommend you do not use unsecure channels to send sensitive information.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including tax, accounting, and consumer protection requirements), resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud and abuse of our guarantee, and for other legitimate business purposes. When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information. These rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and we may decline certain requests as permitted by law.

  • Right to Access / Know. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Delete. Request that we delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Right to Correct. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Portability. Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format or request that we transfer it to a third party, where required by law.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale, Sharing, or Targeted Advertising. Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information or processing for targeted advertising. If you visit our website with a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signal enabled, we will treat this as a valid opt-out request for that browser. We do not currently honor other "Do Not Track" signals.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. Where applicable, limit our use of sensitive personal information to purposes permitted by law.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination. Exercise your privacy rights without receiving discriminatory treatment from us.
  • Manage Communication Preferences. Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email, or opt out of SMS by replying STOP. We may still send transactional communications about your orders and account.

If you reside in the UK or European Economic Area, you may additionally have the following rights, subject to local law:

  • Objection to Processing and Restriction of Processing — ask us to stop or restrict our processing of your personal information for certain purposes.
  • Withdrawal of Consent — withdraw consent where we rely on consent to process your personal information. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf, in which case we will require proof of authorization and may verify your identity directly. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

12. State-Specific Rights (United States)

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or another US state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you have specific rights under your state's law. These include the rights listed above (access, deletion, correction, portability, and opt-out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising).

For California residents specifically, in the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1, from the sources described in Section 2, for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 3, and disclosed them to the categories of third parties described in Section 6.

13. Complaints

14. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States and process personal information in the US. Our service providers may process personal information in other countries. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, unless the transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection.

15. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where superseded by applicable consumer privacy laws of your state or country of residence.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on this website and update the "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice (such as by email or a prominent notice on the Services). Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
